Who we are

Yama Momo is the trading name of the operator of 72 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, London SE22 8HF. For privacy questions, email reservations@yamamomo.co.uk.

What we collect

Booking and enquiry details (name, email, phone, party size, date and time, dietary notes, occasion).
Private dining and contact form submissions (name, email, phone, message).
Newsletter email addresses where you opt in.
Voucher request details (buyer and recipient name and email, message, amount). Payment is arranged separately by bank transfer or in the room.
Standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

Why we use it

To confirm and manage your booking, enquiry or order.
To answer questions you send us.
To send the newsletter when you have opted in. Reply with the word UNSUBSCRIBE at any time and we will remove you within one working day.
To prevent fraud and keep the site running.

Who we share with

We share data only with the processors we need to run the business:

Supabase (EU-region database).
Resend (transactional email).
Vercel (hosting).

We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data. Email us and we will action it within one calendar month.

Retention

Booking and enquiry records: up to 24 months.
Voucher records: 7 years (financial record-keeping).
Newsletter records: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use three kinds of cookies:

Essential. Needed for the site to work (e.g. remembering your cookie choice). These are always on.
Analytics (optional). Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, set only if you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner. They tell us which pages people read so we can improve them.
Advertising (optional). The Meta Pixel, set only if you choose "Accept all". It measures the performance of our ads and lets us show relevant ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

Optional cookies are default-denied: nothing fires until you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
