What we have done
- Single H1 per page, semantic landmarks, descriptive page titles.
- Skip-to-content link as the first focusable element.
- Visible keyboard focus styles on every interactive element.
- Forms with explicit labels, required fields marked, error messages tied to inputs.
- Modal dialogs trap focus and close on Escape.
- Colour palette tested for 4.5:1 contrast on body text.
- Honours
prefers-reduced-motion for animations. - Allergen and dietary information shown in writing on every dish, not behind a tooltip.
Known limitations
We are still improving the following:
- Some interior photography is decorative and intentionally given empty alt text. The information is duplicated in the surrounding copy.
- The booking provider iframe (when enabled) is third-party and may not meet our standards. Use /contact or call 020 8299 1007 if it is unusable for you and we will book on your behalf.
Visiting in person
- The dining room is at street level. The doorway is 82cm wide.
- There is one accessible WC inside the restaurant.
- Service animals are welcome.
- Large-print menus and an allergen reference book are kept at the host stand. Ask any team member.
- If you would like to discuss access before your visit, call 020 8299 1007 or email reservations@yamamomo.co.uk.
